The Phillips Room is a sumptuously comfortable double room with en-suite and with wonderful views of the Castle grounds. It is located in Castle House, within the Castle walls.
The Phillips room, is ideal for our guests who want to get that 'castle' feeling every morning. With views of the castle courtyard, waking up in the Phillips room means that you can relax knowing you are tucked away safe in a medieval stronghold. While benefiting from a well appointed en-suite, luxurious bedding and antique furnishings.
You will also have access to the common areas at Castle House including the living room, kitchen, WC, bathroom and castle grounds. Housekeeping is provided on a daily basis and breakfast will be provided on site, with the option to have it delivered to your room.
Michael's verdict: I don't know exactly who Phillip was, but he had good taste and the view of the courtyard walls makes this the castliest castle room in the castle... while still being as cosy as a book of watercolour paintings of ducks. The double bed is perfect if you are traveling as a couple, or are just on good terms with your companion... or why not book it for yourself and get a good sprawl going?
